What is Ambedo? Ambedo is a modern modular display font, composed of 67 glyphs, all designed from the same base shape. It is a monospaced font, with a flowing digital feel to it, designed to be a mixture of futuristic and retro.

What should I use it for? Ambedo is not meant to be used for longer texts, but rather for special design scenarios, such as logos, branding, prints, shirts, stickers and other short-form usecases. Use Ambedo when you need your text to be impactful, with a distinct, neo-nostalgic feeling.

What does Ambedo mean? Ambedo (noun): A kind of melancholic trance in which you become completely absorbed in vivid sensory details—raindrops skittering down a window, tall trees leaning in the wind, clouds of cream swirling in your coffee—briefly soaking in the experience of being alive, an act that is done purely for its own sake.
